Well seeing our dining table taken over by all manner of Malifaux crews seems to have ignited my better half's imagination! She wanted to pick up some more Malifaux, so this time I asked her to pick which crews she liked the look of (that we didn't already have of course!).
Her first selection was Mah Tucket - that matriarch of the Bayou:
I was really pleased that she chose this crew - it was pretty much next on my list to get! 😁
As with the other crews we've gotten recently, we supplemented this with another box of keyword models - for Mah this just had to be the Rooster Riders:
I mean, come on they are riding giant roosters!! As luck would have it, I had enough left over scenic resin bases so that all our Gremlin crews will have bayou-themed bases!
The other crew she chose surprised me a little - she ummed and ahhed a bit between Nellie and Pandora before eventually settling on Nellie (although I'm sure I'll get Pandora at some point 😉):
The models for this keyword are really different - there's only one actually brandishing a weapon (Phiona there with her pickaxe) - the rest have notepads, writing implements and cameras!
We also ordered the Scooped box - this adds another henchman choice in Allison Dade, as well as characterful choices like the Newsies (who attack with thrown newspapers!):
There's still two or three more crews I'd like to add to the collection - and a few bits and pieces to provide some additional options to McMourning and the Viks in particular - but those can wait a little I think... next month historicals are calling to me again already!
