Ørjan Skaeling – Acolyte of Chaos Undivided

 

A fierce Norscan warrior of the Skaeling people, Ørjan has travelled across the world to raid and pillage a hundred different cultures.  To the coastal towns and cities he has ransacked he is a terror, a savage warrior bearing grisly trophies of former conquests.

What most don't know is that Ørjan does this to acquire artefacts linked with bringing about the apocalypse.  Mere days before the Comet fell in Mordheim, Ørjan acquired the fourth and, he believed, final item – an ornate dagger from Araby that had sacrificed a thousand-thousand innocents.  He has travelled to Mordheim to see the fruits of his labours – and he is convinced he will be gifted with daemonhood if he can find the site of the Comet's impact.

Ørjan's Shield is draped with the flayed skin of a rival champion of Chaos - this skin is marked with runes of significance to those who understand the Dark Tongue.

Central is the eight-pointed star of chaos, at the bottom right is the rune for his initial, on the skull of the rival is the rune for 'man'.  The other runes indicate the blessings of his dark gods - Irrational Hatred, One-Eye, Weapon Master, Silly Walk and Regeneration.  Those who have mocked his odd gait do not live long to regret their actions.

This is the Wulfrik the Wanderer mini - it's rather ridiculously busy, there's so much going on it's almost off-putting but I'm happy with the paintjob.
