Most who have met the Loremaster think he is some kind of Halfling scholar or diplomat, he wears rich red robes, carries a hefty old tome and speaks with an air of authority, although rarely does he speak in anything other than riddles.
The Loremaster hasn't confirmed who or what he is, but he seems to have some ability in the magical arts which he uses for warbands that will hire him.
