The wise-woman called Hilda was known throughout the poor of Mordheim before the fall – she was a source of advice, affordable medical treatment and even baked biscuits for the local street children. She was loved and respected by all that knew her and she was happy and content to help her neighbours in the poor quarters.
Of course, after the Comet, life would never be the same. One of the first to be rounded up by the Witch Hunters that descended on the city, she escaped only because a mob of poor folk attacked and butchered the Witch Hunters, screaming for freedom for 'Granny Hilda'. How was the mob to know Hilda really is in consort with the ruinous powers?
Now, too old to leave Mordheim, Hilda works her way around the various shanty towns and settlements that surround the ruined city. Some truly despicable warbands will hire the Crone, but they are sure to face the ire of the Witch Hunters for their crime!
Hilda here comes from the Citadel C02 - Wizards line back in 1985, where she was called a Sorceress. It's a rough sculpt but she makes a perfect Witch for the Hireling Agency.
