A member of the most populous tribe in the jungle continent of Lustria, Akaba was captured by an enterprising explorer and sold into a life of misery and ridicule as part of a travelling curiosity show and circus. The circus master, seeking to take advantage of the crowds that had been drawn to Mordheim in the days before the comet fell, pitched his wagons and tents outside the city. As the comet fell and darkness claimed the city, Akaba fled the circus, not knowing or caring if any of his fellow performers survived.
Having
nowhere else to go, Akaba plies his jungle-learned skill as a tracker
and healer to the many warbands that fight for riches in the cursed
city.
I knew I wanted to use the Mordheim Hireling Agency as an excuse to have a really varied collection of miniatures and to explore different parts of the Warhammer world and lore. Lustria, despite the campaign setting rules, never saw all that many models released (lizardmen aside of course, but more on them in the future *shifty eyes*) so I looked elsewhere for a Lustrian native, eventually settling on the Ghân-buri-Ghân miniature from the Citadel Lord of the Rings range.
Excellent dude! Always good to see the diverse history warhammer used to have
