Ten Thunders prepped

 Next up on the Malifaux production line was the Ten Thunders stuff - starting with the Misaki Core Box for the Last Blossom keyword.

I started with the Torakage:

These were all pretty straightforward to assemble - the one on the left with the halberd was the trickiest but even that wasn't too bad.

Next was Ototo, the heavy hitter of the crew:

This was a really easy miniature to assemble - no issues at all!

Finally for the core box is Misaki herself, and her fiery totem Shang:

Misaki was easy enough - with most Malifaux miniatures I've found sub assemblies tend to work well before bringing things together.

Shang was a different prospect - the instructions available aren't the best and I couldn't find any pictures of this newer version of Shang assembled.  The best advice I can give is to assemble the two body-halves and the head and put it to one side, then work on the fiery tails that form most of the miniature.  Once the tail components are all assembled it'll then become clear where to attach the rest of Shang to them.

As you may have seen I also added some Tanuki to the Ten Thunders collection:

These three were really easy to put together - my favourite is the little guy at the front sitting and sloshing his booze about!

I've got Fuhatsu already primed to join this little lot - but I do intend to add the Karmic Debts box when funds allow to add Minako Rei and her summonable Katashiro.
