Early on in my Bolt Action collecting/painting I realised I had enough minis to do a rough split between Heer and SS. That way I can mix, match or theme a force to suit. I deliberately tooled up the SS - especially as they serve double-duty in games of Konflikt 47.
The first squad I equipped entirely with Assault Rifles for maximum dice:
Of course the squad leader (he in the officer cap obviously!) gets a name: Oberscharführer Clemens Pracht.
If I have the points, I'll tend to include this squad in lists - the dice are nice, they are stubborn blighters for the enemy to remove in full and they have a nice range to boot.
