A dark acolyte of the God of Disease, Georg Gutworm spreads pestilence and plague wherever he goes. His favoured tactic is to infect a village, small town or warband with a variety of diseases and when they are quarantined by the local authorities (whether the local priest, baron or duke) he makes himself known, offering the mercy and benevolence of his God to those who have been betrayed in their hour of need.
He is often accompanied by Nurglings, small daemons of his God, who play around his ankles and bite and scratch any who would attack the favoured servant of Grandfather Nurgle.
This is what Games Workshop now seem to be calling the Lord of Plagues - I took the spikes off the shoulder pad cause I really didn't like them and added some GS that I textured a little to represent some infected tissue of some kind in the shape of the rune of Nurgle. I added some bits from the old Empire Flagellant kit to his back and used the old cannon balls bit from the Imperial Artillery kit as it is a perfect rune of Nurgle. I picked up some individual modern Nurglings to provide Georg's little friends.
