None are sure which god Ismachiah serves; there are those who believe he is a savage proponent of the Redemption's credo, but he is not one for preaching so it's difficult to know for certain.
It's a good job, as Ismachiah secretly prays to an obscure deity called Shezmu – every drop of blood spilled by Ismachiah's brutal axe is an offering to his ever-thirsty patron.
This is one of the Cultist Champion minis from the old 40k starter set. It was spare from a failed Chaos Marine army but found a new home here in the Hireling Agency. The mask makes me think of MF DOOM.
