A firm believer in the Redemptionist cause, Ignis is on a penitential journey across B67 to atone for his own personal sins.
Often attaching himself to Cawdor or Redemptionist gangs, Ignis will gladly throw himself into combat, seemingly seeking pain, injury or death in an attempt to atone for some previous failing that only he can recall.
Ignis here is, of course, one of the Redemptionist Brethren minis. I've got a Redemptionist gang in the painting queue, but this was a duplicate miniature that I decided to induct into the Hireling Agency. I switched his stubgun out for an old plastic plasma pistol and made him into a Cawdor/Redemptionist aligned scummer. Tried to paint the front tabard bit as a parchment to give it a bit of interest.
