Infinity Reinforcements from Catalunya

We had been away on a holiday to Barcelona for a few days and found the rather awesome Goblin Trader store. I can only wish that one day Birmingham has a (war)gaming store with as varied a stock as Goblin Trader!

Anyway, my wife encouraged me to indulge a little from the veritable wall of Infinity minis and seeing as we had some spare capacity in our suitcases who was I to say no?

So, let's start with the obvious - I got the JSA Army Pack... well, I couldn't really theme our games of Infinity around Neo-Shinjuku and not have a Japanese faction could I?  To build on the contents of that rather awesome box I also picked up the JSA Support Pack and a box of the hefty Tankō Zensenbutai.  I'd like to add a couple of other bits and pieces - Neko, a Shikami or a couple of Ninja perhaps, but this is a great start.

I'd realised that I had enough minis that I planned to use in my NCA force to also form the basis of an OSS Aleph force... I don't really like the look of Dakini Tacbots so am aiming for a Deva/Yadu with friends kind of theme.  I've got plenty of Devas, the Coldfront Yadu and I'd also picked up Shakti (with a plan to use as a proxy Locust in NCA) so when I spotted the Yadu box in Goblin Trader it was straight into the shopping trolley (well, on to the pile in my arms!).  I also grabbed the Aleph Support Pack - the Sophotect will go into OSS and the Yudbots and Netrods can be used in either my OSS or my Steel Phalanx forces. I do love double-duty from miniatures and Infinity is a playground for that!

I also took the opportunity to pick up a box of Corregidor Jaguars - these will give me options for my Corregidor sectorial force, but can also be used in StarCo if I want a more overtly Mercenary themed force someday.

Having already got Corregidor and Bakunin forces I'd had half an eye on Tunguska for a little while - I have the Grenzer and Spektr from the Icestorm starter already so they can go straight with the Tunguska starter to give a good start.  The FastPandas were too cute to pass up so I picked up the Interventor box too.  Think I want to add some of the new named characters to this force down the line (Mary Problems, Perseus, Raoul) but this is plenty to be getting on with!

Finally I opted for the Varuna starter - I can get dual-duty from some of my NCA stuff (ORCs, Fusiliers) and I already had a couple of Croc Men from when I was planning a more Vanilla PanO force so already have some options for a Varuna force.  Plus I love that ORC with the Feuerbach, it's just too cool.  I know I want to add the Zulu-Cobra Hacker that is coming out as I love the mini and will probably pick up Patsy Garnett too.  I also grabbed a Peacemaker Armbot as I'd wanted one for my NCA and can also use it with Varuna too.

I'm a lucky chap!

Now to work out how many bases of different sizes I need to get from Antenocitis Workshop!
