Wildlife of Sector B67 - Arachnid Menace

Another common pest in Sector B67 are the many types of spider that can be found in almost every tunnel, vent and dark corner.  The most common of the giant spiders here is known as the Striped 67, which is a particularly cantankerous wolf spider.

There are occasional reports of larger spiders that have made their home in some of the quieter domes; the famous wildlife expert Raymundo Meeaz has suggested that the Striped 67s are merely the juveniles of these larger beasts... while no one is sure if Meeaz is correct, the Guilders aren't willing to take the risk and often organise 'bug hunts' to clear out pests, with Striped 67s attracting a premium price.

It's impossible to play Necromunda and not own some spiders, I mean they are practically synonymous with the planet - even the Imperial Guard regiments drawn from Necromunda are nicknamed the Spiders!

First up are the Striped 67s, which came with the plastic rats and bats.  I painted them in a common tarantula inspired style:

And here we have a Gigantic Spider (if Meeaz is right, Momma Striped 67) - which is a Marauder Miniatures model from the early 90s (the goblin rider long gone!):

It's on a 40mm base and is quite a bit bigger than the Striped 67s - wouldn't want to accidently stumble into the dome she calls home!
