The Heralds of Hope

Newcomers from Sector WV1 (known to the good people of B67 as Dingleville or the Pit of Misery), a small group calling themselves the Heralds of Hope have begun touring some of the smaller settlements across Sector B67.  Their leader, Szabó, will tell any who listen of a benevolent god who gave him the strength to resist the Stinking Pox - a god that will welcome any to his service...

After a failed attempt at a Chaos Army for 40k I was left with plenty of cultists - most became a Cult (proxy Cawdor) warband that is a WIP, but the rest I divvied up into a couple of basic small gangs of NPCs.  The Heralds of Hope are one of those gangs.

Here's their leader - Szabó:

He's a second edition Scavvy model - with an Empire flagellant's mace as his weapon of choice.

Next up is Antal, the flamer-toting heavy:

Here is Boros - who had his club switched for a sword made from a Skaven spear:

He is joined by Nemes, who has a rather mean looking scrap metal club:

Here's Miksa, looks like he abandoned House Cawdor to serve his new god:

And finally there is poor Fodor, who looks like he is dealing with a nasty eye infection:

They were quite quick to paint up and I think they fit the bill of bounty hunting fodder NPCs... or do they have a bigger role to play?
